RussNeft is planning to produce a million and a half tonnes of oil from Achimov deposits, reserves of which are categorised as hard-to-recover ones, the Company said to Rambler News Service.
“Achimov oil production in Tagrinskoye and Verkhne-Shapshinskoye fields will peak in 2020 with 1.5. mln tonnes”, RussNeft informed.
According to the information materials provided by the Company, a pilot project for development of Achimov deposits includes drilling of 8 wells in 2018, with the total drilling amounting to 86 wells and peak of the production – to half a million tonnes by 2020. NAK “Aki-Otyr”, a subsidiary of RussNeft, is the operator of the project. In the second quarter of 2016, RussNeft launched the dynamic drilling of the Achimov deposit of Tagrinskoye oilfield. As a result of geological and engineering works (well interventions), the flow rates exceed the average flow rates over West Siberia. The project is operated by Varioganneft, another subsidiary of RussNeft. The crude of Tagrinskoye oilfield is classified as light.
Besides, by the year 2021, RussNeft planned to produce in Sredne-Shapshinskoye field, which is located at Bazhenov suite, around 900 thousand tonnes of hard-to-recover crude annually, the President of the Company Evgeny Tolochek reported earlier.
