FC Neftyanik, sponsored by PJSC “RussNeft”, wins a football championship of Ulyanovsk region for the fifth time
Neftyanik football club from Novospasskoye industrial town won the football championship of Ulyanovsk region.
The representatives and players of the football club were named among the best football players of the Championship 2018: Dmitry Krasilnikov as the best goal keeper, Vyacheslav Pribylov as the best forward. Avkhat Abdulin, the Senior Coach of FC Neftyanik, was recognized as the best coach.
It is not the only victory of the football club in 2018. FC Neftyanik team won the Football Cup and Football Super Cup of Ulyanovsk region for four times.
FC Neftyanik was established in 2003 with the support of Mikhail Gutseriev, the owner of PJSC “RussNeft”. The company has been the main sponsor of the football club in course of 15 years.
FC Neftyanik puts much effort in training of young football players. Above 200 juniors from Novospassky district at the age from 7 to 17 are training in the football club, most of them are children of the employees of Ulyanovskneft, the subsidiary.
SAFMAR, the charity foundation, owned by Mikhail Gutseriev, sponsors reconstruction works at the sports camp of the football club, the central stadium in Novospasskoye.
Nowadays FC Neftyanik remains to be the only club in the region, where training classes, sportswear, sports equipment and participation for all the trainees are free of charge. In course of 15 years the football players have become the winners and awardees of many international, Russian and regional championships in Anapa, Sochi, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Volgograd and other cities of Russia.
