Saratov. At wells of Sokolovogorskoye, Guselskoye and Vostochno Suslovskoye fields of OAO “Saratovneftegaz”, a mining subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”, significant growth of oil production has been achieved. This has become possible due to putting into operation ESP unit with packer, which allowed to increase oil production on the average 3.5 times at these wells.
Earlier the operation of 43rd Guselskaya, 16 th Vostochno- Suslovskaya and 176 th Sokolovogorskaya wells was complicated because of the presence of water-bearing horizon higher than productive strata, and also because of non-hermetic state of production string.
To solve the abovementioned problems the specialists of OAO “Saratovneftegaz” moved down packaging arrangements of underground equipment into wells, developed by leading companies in the oilfield services market – OAO “Novomet” and NPF “Packer”.
Currently, production is carried out with the help of ESP unit, where bottom hole pump is installed below the packer with the cord grip.
Performed procedures have allowed to increase flow rate per well on average 3,5 times. And along with this, the cost of equipment implementation proved to be considerably lower than the potential costs on hermetization of the flow string.
In addition, it should be noted that this equipment, successfully implemented by specialists of subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK “RussNeft”, has been applied in the practice of oil production in the Saratov region for the first time.
