Ulyanovsk. OAO “Ulyanovskneft”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”, optimizes process flow scheme of petroleum fluid gathering and transportation at Birlinskoye oilfield, bringing industrial process at a maximum effective level. In particular, the enterprise took out of operation booster pipe station (ДНС) from the flow scheme at Birlinskoye oilfield.

Previously petroleum fluid from Yuzhno-Philippovskoye, Vostochno-Philippovskoye and Birlinskoye oilfields got into pipe station processing units with further separation and transportation due to booster pumps.
According to the new process flow scheme, petroleum fluid is pumped over in oil pipeline directly from wells to Preliminary Water Removal Unit (PWRU) “Severnoye” due to the pressure, created by bottom-hole pumps.
Output of booster pump station at Birlinskoye oilfield from process flow scheme allowed Ulyanovsk oilmen to decrease electric power consumption, which led to financial savings prior to the end of the year in amount of 480 thousand rub. and also to redirect personnel of the booster pump station to other functioning objects.
