Tomsk. Today OAO NK “Russneft”(RUSN01) and the Government of Tomsk region have signed the Agreement on Cooperation today, says the press-release of "RussNeft". The document covers the key prospects of cooperation of the oil and gas holding and the region for a three-year period. The Agreement is aimed at extending mutually advantageous cooperation, resolution of questions of social and economic development of the region, improvement of the investment climate and stable development of the economy of the territory, support and the development of its scientific and technical potential.
Under the signed Agreement, OAO NK “Russneft” in 2010 will provide oil production at the territory of Tomsk region in amount not less than 300 thousand tons, which exceeds the last year’s index by 40%. The company plans to concentrate on the implementation of one of the major projects in the region – the development of Stolbovoye oilfield with recoverable resources 12.2 mln. tons of oil.
Thus, it is planned to the raise oil production output at this license area four times as compared with 2009; to drill 11 new wells. In the near three years OAO NK “Russneft” is going to bring Stolbovoye oilfield to the maximal level of commercial production and try to bring the annual production output to 1 million tons.. The investment progam volume for 2010 amounts to 550 million rubles / which exceeds the analogus figures of the last year trice. The development of capital investments will be connected with the development and construction of engineering and production infrastructure of the company’s Tomsk oilfields.
Besides, “Russneft” will continue the implementation of significant charity projects and social programs in Tomsk region. In 2010 7.4 million rubles will be assigned for that purpose.
