Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft” , a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” (RUSSN01), operating oil wells at Oreshnikovskoye, Centralnoye, Pogrebniakovoskoye, Vostochno-Postolskoye, Kambarskoye oilfields in Udmurtia, applies modern technology of dual completion which permits to produce hydrocarbon stock by most efficient methods, “Russneft” reports.
Nowadays 8 wells at the Company’s oilfields in Udmurtia are successfully using this method, among them 4 wells where the equipment was introduced in the course of development after drilling. Application of this method enabled “Belkamneft” to achieve daily flow rate growth up to 30 ton per well.
It is worth saying that the technology of dual completion as well permits to reduce the number of wells which should be drilled according to the project, while keeping hydrocarbon stock production growing. Due to this fact “RussNeft” has the possibility to cut capital expenditures and implement the programs of operational drilling at more efficient level assigning released funds to other projects.
The technology of dual completion confirmed its efficacy and in future it will be applied at other oilfields of the company. At the present moment “Belkamneft” has already started analyzing its operating well stock in order to study the possibilities of applying this method at other license areas of the Udmurt company.
