Nizhnevartovsky District, KhMAO. OAO NK “RussNeft” (RUSN01) commissioned the first horizontal well with record high flow rate exceeding 500 tons of dry crude oil per day at Chukhlorsky license area of Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye oilfield in Western Siberia, the company’s press-release informs.

Yuzhno-Roslavlkoye oilfield was discovered by the geologists in 1993 and was put into test operation in 2009. Commissioning of the horizontal well  enabled the Company from the beginning of this year to raise by 28 % daily hydrocarbon stock production at OAO MPC “Aganneftegasgeologia” (ANGG), a subsidiary of NK “RussNeft”, which is developing Roslavlskoye oilfield. This fact not only helped to stabilize the amount of oil production of the company, but also to form up a steady tendency of production determinants’ growth. Thus, daily production output of ANGG this March   as compared with January this year has grown by 800 tons and amounted to 2461 tons.
“RussNeft”  goes on actively developing its oilfields in Western Siberia.  At present the company is drilling slanted wells at Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye and Vostochno-Golevoye oilfields, a horizontal well at Mokhtikovskoye oilfield. At the same time the company is actively exploring the deposits of Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye oilfield which will permit to specify the structure of lower seated oil reservoirs of this license area. The holding is planning to reach further growth of hydrocarbon stock production output at these oilfields.
