Orenburg, February 6, INTERFAX - in 2007 OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez" increased investments into implementation of ecological program 2.2 times - up to 364 million rubles, according to the information received by "Interfax" from the plant.
In particular, in 2007 the plant continued construction of on-spot loading rack for refined products which will permit to reduce discharges of hydrocarbons, benzol, toluin and kerosin.
Besides, last year, within the frameworks of implementation of ecological program, the plant carried on the works on biological recultivation of mazut-contaminated soil at the industrial wastes disposal site. These measures will help to reduce the amount of hydrocarbons leaking into subterranean waters, underline the people at the plant.
At present OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez" is preparing to put into operation the second stage of flotation at the area of mechanical purification of sewage waters, which will permit to improve the quality of drain cleaning.
