OAO NK “RussNeft” and the administration of Saratov region signed an agreement on cooperation for 2007-2009. This document gives determination of the priorities of cooperation between the parties, which are aimed at assistance to social and economic development of the region and successful work of OAO “Saratovneftegas” – the main subsidiary of the Company in the region.
The agreement was signed by the President of OAO NK “Russneft” and the Governor of Saratov region Pavel Ipatov. Under the agreement NK “RussNeft” and the administration of the region will cooperate in the sphere of resource potential of the region, industrial complex development, environmental control and implementation of social programs. The parties agreed that the volume of NK “RussNeft”’s investments into its Saratov subsidiaries in 2007 will amount to 842 billion rubles including investments into geological exploration and drilling in amount of more than 400 million rubles. Labor protection and industrial security costs are planned in amount of 26.9 million rubles, environmental control costs – more than 20 million rubles. The sum of tax revenues from “RussNeft” to the consolidated budget of Saratov Region, according to the agreement, will amount t0 442 million rubles. NK “RussNeft” is also assigning more than 40 million rubles for financing of regional social projects in conformity with the principal trends of charity and sponsoring activity of the holding.
Social projects of various purposes will cover all the regions of business activity of OAO “Saratovneftegas”. Among the priorities there are overall repair of schools, hospitals, sport complexes, cultural institutions, building of churches, purchasing of medical and sport equipment, technical facilities for schools and kindergartens and others.
