A Five km Special Directional Well to Be Drilled in Saratov Region

Since Oil and Gas Company RussNeft came into possession of Saratovneftegaz the scope of investments has increased coming to 900 million roubles which is more than by 60% higher as compared with the year 2005.

This year the company was going to produce 1.51 million tons of crude oil and gas. This year they will drill two exploratory wells. One of them is the 1st Zapadno-Belokamennaya well. It will be a directional well with its borehole extending to a depth 1.15 thousand meters which will make it something very special for this Volga region. The well engineering is estimated as 270 million roubles. A total of 349 million roubles will be assigned to the exploration and drilling.
This year cost of industrial safety and labour protection will come to 30 million roubles. More than 53 million roubles will be assigned to maintaining the pipeline system in order to prevent breakdowns and crude oil spillages.
According to the cooperation agreement between Governor Pavel Ipatov and RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev, Saratovneftegaz and its service companies will contribute 442 million roubles in the regional consolidated budget. Moreover, RussNeft will help in repairing local highways.
