“Dengi”. “RussNeft” buys up oil producers.

It was announced last week that “RussNeft” purchased from companies affiliated with “TNK-BP” and American “Anderman/Smith” oil producing joint enterprise limited company “Chernogorskoye”, which operates in Khanty-Mansiysk region. This new acquisition will enable “RussNeft” to produce 7,5 million tones of oil per annum. At the same time, by the end of this year “RussNeft” plans to increase its production up to 10 million tones, that is why it carries on negotiations about buying a couple more oil producing companies. As far as “Dengi” is informed, “RussNeft” paid $60 mln for 100% shares of “Chernogorskoye”.
