Best Health and Safety Specialist was chosen in Ulyanovsk

Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary won the regional Best Health and Safety Specialist contest.

The contest was organized by the Ministry of Health, Social Development and Sport of Ulyanovsk region aiming to implement state policy in Health and Safety as well as to increase the prestige of this occupation.  Around 60 specialists from 56 companies of the region applied for the contest. The contest contained tests and business game. The major criteria assessment of the contestants was knowledge of the Labor Legislation, Health and Safety requirements, Electrical Safety and Safety Requirements, as well as its implementation. A.M. Kilin, Deputy Chief Engineer for HSE OAO Ulyanovskneft was the winner due to the total results of the contests. The winners of the contest were determined by an authoritative panel. The panel included the representative of the State Labor Inspection in Ulyanovsk,  Rostekhnadzor Department in Central Volga region and Rospotrebnadzor Department in Ulyanovsk region. Saving lives and health of the employees, environmental care in the regions where OAO Ulyanovskneft operates are the major priorities and terms of the development of the company.
