Aganneftegazgeologiya will expand the gas-piston station at Eguryakhskoye field

Nizhnevartovsk, KhMAO. Construction of two gas-piston electrical power generation units within the power complex at Eguryakhskoye license area will commence in OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya (subsidiary of NK RussNeft).

According to OAO MPK ANGG press-service, the ninth and the tenth modular units of the gas-piston station, like the previous units, were manufactured by Austrian GE Jenbacher with account of Eguryakhskoye field characteristics. The power complex, comprising 10 gas-piston electrical power generation units, has a capacity of 6.6 MW which meets the electrical power needs of the oil field.

Start-up of the two additional units is performed by OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya within the gas program implementation which will enable the company to increase the Eguryakhskoye field associated gas utilization rate up to 95%.

The program provides for construction of a number of facilities of gas engineering infrastructure as well as application of new technologies and development of optimum operation arrangements at OAO MPK ANGG fields in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
