Aganneftegazgeologiya held an emergency response drill

Nizhnevartovsk region, KhMAO. OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya (subsidiary of NK RussNeft), carried out a complex training for oil products spill response at hazardous facilities of the Company.

According to communication from OAO MPK ANGG press-service to Uralinformburo, specially equipped ground at Mokhtikneft oilfield was used for training on response to an oil spill from a pipeline onto water surface, extinguishing fire at an oil contaminated area and forest fire.

Emergency rescue team of the oilfield, OOO VIUR firefighting brigade and emergency rescue team of Nizhnevartovsk regional branch of the Centre of Emergency Rescue and Environmental Operations participated in the drill.

The training participants practiced emergencies containment and response in case of oil products spill as well as interaction and coordination of the emergency response teams of OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya and its contractors.

The rescue team of NRF OAO TsASEO demonstrated operation of special equipment for oil collection from water surface. The team shared its experience of using the special equipment and explained the methods of oil spill response in specific seasons on various surfaces (ground, swamp, water etc.).

The systematic approach of OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya to emergency response allows it to fully meet all the requirements of the law in firefighting, civil defense and emergency prevention, as well as the corporate safety standards of NK RussNeft.
