Nizhnevartovsk, KhMAO. 400 thousand rubles were allocated by OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologia (subsidiary of NK RussNeft) as charity to the Novoagansk children art school. The funds were used for purchase of musical instruments and concert costumes for artistic groups.

According to OAO MPK ANGG press-service communication, the Novoagansk children art school is one of the oldest educational institutions of Nizhnevartovsk region. In 2013, it will celebrate its 35-year anniversary. About 300 talented children from Novoagansk and Variogan attend the school.

Aganneftegazgeologia traditionally takes active part in the school’s life. Thanks to the financial support from the oil company, the students of the art school  participate in various contests and festivals, buy new musical instruments and sound recording equipment. A number of charitable and sponsorship projects were implemented in 2012 with direct involvement of the company. Those include: purchase of a professional instrument for Ekaterina Parno, the art school graduate, funding a regional festival of academic arts and new year holidays for the school’s students.

Longstanding cooperation of Aganneftegazgeologia and Novoagansk children art school is not the only example of successful implementation of the social economic and charitable program of the company. Support to the cultural, educational and sport institutions of Novoagansk – area of operation activities of the company - has always been among its major priorities.
