OAO NK AKI-OTYR provides charitable support to native minorities of the North

Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, NK RussNeft subsidiary, continues implementation of social and charity programmes. It witnessed provision of financial support to native minorities of the North, owners of communal family lands where the company produces oil.

The funds were allocated to development of traditional activities, acquisition of fuels and lubricants, building materials, boats, boat engines, ski doos, autonomous power stations, etc. Compensational payments amounted to around 700 thousand rubles.
Liabilities of social and economic agreements with the administrations of municipal areas and areas where the Company operates are also being fulfilled. 2.2 mln rubles were allocated to development of these territories, their maintenance and reconstruction of socially significant facilities, natural resources security, native residents of the North support. Apart from that OAO NAK AKI-OTYR provides financial support to educational institutions, cultural and sport institutions, social disabled people organizations and war veterans, orphanges in implementation of charity and social oriented projects. 
It is not the first year when the oilmen cooperate with the federal institution Rehabilitation center for disabled children and teenagers, Luchik. Disabled children and their families are provided with the medical and social rehabilitation as well as psychological support. 

Social programmes, charity programmes and sponsorship are one of the priority directions of OAO NK RussNeft social policy and subsidiaries of the holding. Around 3 mln rubles were allocated for these aims within Q1 2013. Totally around 8 mln rubles will be allocated to social and charity programmes in KhMAO this year.
