Aganneftegasgeologia completed routine maintenance at a pressure pipeline

Nizhnevartovsky District, KhMAO. OAO MPC Aganneftegasgeologia (a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft) has completed routine maintenance at the pressure pipeline “CPF Mokhtikovsky - CPF Yermakovsky”.

The diameter of the 47 km long gathering pressure pipeline is 273 mm, it was put into exploitation in 2009. It is designed for transporting the oil produced at Mokhtikovskoye oilfield to the CPF of Yermakovskoye oilfield (developed by OAO NNP, incorporated in the structure of TNK-BP) and further to the system of trunk pipelines. Scheduled routine maintenance with the purpose of supporting performance capability of the object was carried out for the first time. The work was divided into two stages. During the preparation stage the specialists of OAO MPC ANGG and OAO NNP agreed about plan and schedule of the work and the staff of CPF Mokhtikovskoye revised section isolation valves along the whole length of the pipeline.
On the second stage the inner surface of the pipeline was cleared with the help of a cleaning device (a pig), its movement through the pipeline was controlled by a special acoustic equipment. The data was supplied online to the central process technology service. The pig arrived to the receiving trap at estimated time.
Regular operation mode confirmed that the pipeline was exploited in accordance with the technical regulations and the applicable  norms and rules.
Routine maintenance did not affect  stock tank oil transfer schedule. In future specialists of OAO MPC ANGG intend to perform such kind of  work on a regular basis, once a quarter.
