OAO NAK “AKI-OTYR” continues engineering infrastructure development at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields

Khanty-Mansiysk, KhMAO. OAO “NAK “AKI-OTYR”, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK “RussNeft”, continues engineering infrastructure development at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields.

At Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield the construction of well pad №10 was started, aimed at drilling of 22 wells. In 2012 it is planned to drill 15 directional wells and 1water well. The expected initial debits will be – 55 t/d. of oil. The annual output is initially estimated to increase by 60 thousand tons.
Today the back-filling of well pad is carried out, the basement is raised for installing a drilling rig. Approach road to well pad №10 is nearly to be built. The length of the roadway – 4.6 km. Completion of engineering preparation of the well pad is scheduled for the end of December of the current year. In parallel with the end of the construction of the well pad equipment delivery will be started for field installation works. This will let start the installation of the drilling rig in January of 2012.
In total since the beginning of the development of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield in 2008 there were drilled 70 wells, 4 well pads were constructed, 24 kilometers of roads, pressure pipeline 52 km length, series of power transmission lines. The first turn of press pumping station is preparing to be launched. 
Completion and commissioning of new facilities of production infrastructure of Shapshinskaya group of oilfields in 2012 will allow OAO “NAK “AKI-OTYR” to increase the volume of hydrocarbon production, that 25% will exceed the figures of 2011.
