OAO “Saratovneftegas” received flush flow of water-free oil at Alekseevskoye oilfield.

Saratov. At Alekseevskoye oilfield from horizontal well № 16 G of OAO “Saratovneftegas”, a subsidiary production enterprise of OAO NK “RussNeft”, there was received flush flow of water-free oil with daily flow of about 100 m3.

Horizontal drilling of wells with depth of over 2-kilometers at oilfields of Saratov region has not been practiced until recently. Considering the complexity of geologic cross-section, with design depth of 2593m, instead of 250m of horizontal area with a view to achieving the projected well output 315m was drilled. While drilling horizontal wellbore, an extended complex of geophysical research was carried out, including nuclear-magnetic logging. The company "Schlumberger" was invited as a partner, a world leader in the sphere of oil-related services. Well placement was carried out in real time using precise geologic navigation.
The conducted activities allowed under conditions of high reserves depletion of hydrocarbons at Alekseevskoye oilfield receive the flush flow of water-free water.
