“Saratovneftegas” in the I quarter increased its revenue 1.4 times

Saratov. Revenue of OAO “Saratovneftegas” (enters into NK “RussNeft”) (PTC: RUSN) in the first quarter of 2011 amounted to 2 billion 471.353 mln. rub. and increased by 39% as compared with the analogous period of 2010, as stated in the quarterly Company’s report.

Increase in revenue was caused by rising prices for oil and gas in the domestic market and increase in the volume of oil sales, the report clarifies. It was earlier reported that net profit of “Saratovneftegas” in the I quarter of 2011 increased 13.3 times as compared with January-March of 2010 – up to 829.208 mln. rubles.
