«Aganneftegasgeologia» is carrying on seismic works at Chernogorskoye oilfield.

Nizhnevartovsky District. The company “Aganneftegasgeologia” – a subsidiary of “RussNeft” – is carrying on field seismic works at Chernogorskoye oilfield within the frames of additional exploration program. Field seismic exploration has already been completed.

The aim of this work was to optimize the pattern of development of the identified oil deposits in the formations of groups AB1-1-2, БВ10-,0, ЮВ1-1 which are  operation, as well as of the search of new oil deposits in Lower Jurassic and Muiddle Jurassic deposits in the formations from group ЮВ-2 to ЮВ10. The total volume of field seismic works amounted to 50 square kilometers. The seismic survey was carried on using modern telemetric systems and field equipment.
Chernogorskoye oilfield has been under  commercial development since 1993. As of the present day the recoverable resources of “Black gold” at Chernogorskoye oilfield are estimated as 3.6 million tons. The seismic works done by the company will permit to study the oilfield  in details, and the data received will form the basis for  exploration and operational drillin program for 2012, says the press-service of the company.
