Orsk. February 24, 2011. As per decision of Orsk City Council of Deputies, the General Director of ОАО «Orsknefteorgsintez» V. Pilyugin was awarded the Medal of Merit for the City of Orsk II degree for his significant contribution to social and economic issues in the city, in the development of charity and arts patronage.

The enterprise, which is headed by Pilyugin, consistently implements modernization of production, environmental control, and a comprehensive system of social protection for workers. Thanks to the efforts of Vladimir Vasilyevich OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez" is actively involved in charitable and sponsorship activities to support the most socially significant urban projects: gasification of the city, the construction of bypass roads, repair of the city hospitals and educational institutions, support of children's sports and patriotic schools and clubs, assistance to the law-enforcement agencies, national societies, citizens who find themselves in difficult life situations, disabled persons. V. Pilyugin was awarded the title of "Honorary Petrochemist of the Russian Federation", "Honored Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia", "Honorary Citizen of the city of Orsk".
