The oilmen of “Ulianovsk” restored power supply at their facilities and help the people from neighbouring settlements, who found themselves in an emergency zone due to abnormal weather.

Ulianovsk. The facilities of an upstream subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” found themselves in an emergency zone because of abnormal weather. In connection with ice load and breakage of wires at aerial lines 110-35 kVsubstations 110/35/10rV in 4 districts of the Ulianovsk region : Cherdaklinsky, Staromainsky, Novomalykinsky and Melekessky were deenergized. More than 80 thousand people were left without electrical light.

19 oilfields of Oil and gas Producing Department-2 “Sever” (North”)  located at thhat territory were fully deenergized. Novobesovskoye and Novolabitovskoye oilfields sufferd most, there were destroyed more than 130 pylons of aerial line 10kV, power lines 35 kV were damaged.  
To restore power supply at strategic objects the power engineers of OAO “Ulianovskneft” put into operation Diesel generators. All the services of the company were working  on-line, materials and components were being supplied incessantly,  repair brigades were provided with necessary transport means and special machinery. Three  contractor organizations took part in the restoration  works.

In 9 days the repair and restoration works were completed. At present all the 19 oilfields are in the mode of normal operation.

In spite of the emergency “Ulianovskneft” helped the neighbouring settlements sending machinery, equipment, transport means.
