“Moskovsky komsomoletz in Saratov”
Saratov. OAO “Saratovneftegas”, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK”RussNeft”, gratuitously granted Saratov fiber-optic link more than 40 km length (balance value over 8,7 mln. rub.). The link will be used as one of the basic elements of hardware-software system “Safe city”.
Currently being created, hardware-software system “Safe city” is intended to improve the effectiveness of law and order enforcement in the streets and public places of the city, to protect citizens against criminal attacks, enhance responsiveness to committed crimes by local police departments of Saratov city.
Now in order to ensure public order and personal security of citizens in Saratov at 162 objects with mass people stay 1328 video-cameras are installed. In a single information video-space of the “Safe city” system, fiber-optic link, granted by “Saratovneftegas”, will be used for data transmission from video-cameras as well as the exchange of information flows between workstations of local police departments in Saratov.
Creation of hardware-software system “Safe city” will lead to the improvement of living conditions, will enhance the stability of social facilities, transport, energy and industrial complexes in Saratov.
