«Aki-Otyr» company has fulfilled its obligations on compensation payments to owners of tribal lands

Khanty-Mansiysk. «Aki-Otyr» company (a subsidiary of «RussNeft») sent 767 thousand rubles compensation to indigenous people of the North, in the tribal lands of which the company has been producing oil.

In the field of industrial interests of "Aki-Otyr" there are five tribal lands in the territory of which the company carries out continuous production activity.
Oilers have concluded individual contracts with each family, taking into account their real needs. Compensatory payments were made on the basis of federal law "Concerning Subsurface Resources", "On guarantees of rights of indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation”, as well as other territorial laws.
The funds were pointed to the purchase of boats, outboard motors, power plants, snowmobile "Buran", fuel and lubricants - that are vital to aborigines leading a traditional lifestyle, as well as training in universities.
Concern about the indigenous population, originally residing in the territory of Yugra is a priority of social policy of «RussNeft» «daughter», the press service of the company “Aganneftegazgeologiya” has informed.
