Saratov. The club "Turbina" was the champion of the USSR eight times, and its sportsmen many times received prestigious international prizes. At present the club is one of the leaders of Russian speedway.
"RussNeft" traditionally sponsors mass sports in the Saratov Region, this is a priority of social policy of the oil and gas company.For example, with financila help of "RussNeft" and its subsidiary "Saratovneftegas" 0n 2006-2-1- 5 interrefional kickboxing tournamants were held in Saratov. In 2010 "RussNeft" assigned 1 million rubles for Saratov Regional Association of football and other sports development for organization of the IX regional football tournament among neighboring teams.
