OAO “Belkamneft” converts line heaters to natural gas

Izhevsk. OAO “Belkamneft”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” put into operation at Buranovskioye oilfield the oil line heater (ПНПТ-0б 63Г№2) operating from natural gas. In earlier times at the oil treatment unit (OUT) crude oil was used as stock.

Putting into operation of a line heater operating from natural gas permitted to stop bringing commercial oil from Smolnikovskoye oilfield, to reduce payments for environment pollution, to improve significantly the ecological situation in the district. Economical effect will amount to about 5 million per year.
It is the second object of gasification of line heaters put into operation. In the beginning of April 2010  start up works at the last one of them, the third one  was completed at the oil treatment unit “Yuski”.
The new equipment will permit to reduce emissions resulting from incineration of sulfurous oil, sell additionally more than 730 tons of oil annually and to reduce considerably the number of cruising trucks.
The administration of the holding and its subsidiaries  pays special attention to ecological safety at production facilities. OAO “Belkamneft” is planning to assign in 2010 742 million rubles to financing of ecological events.
