Saratov. OAO NK “Russneft” obtained a license for the right of hydrocarbons exploration and production within the limits of Lusianinskoye oilfield in Saratov Region Its recoverable reserves in C1+C2 category amount to 273 thousand tons, says the report from the company.
In 2008 OAO “Saratovneftegas”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” discovered a new oilfield which was named Lusianinskoye after a famous oilmen Gennady Lusianin, former General Director of OAO “SNG”. Lusianinskoye oilfield is situated in Engels District, 30 km to the south-east of Saratov.
The pioneer of the oilfield was exploration well No 4. Testing the well gave oil-free flowing with average daily flow rate of about 95 cbm. During the two years geological services of the Company have studied and itemized the structure of Lusianinskoye oilfield in order to prepare it for test commissioning. Thus, in 2008, taking into consideration re-interpretation of the data of 3D seismic works, there was performed operative assessment of hydrocarbons and location of the next exploration well was recommended. In 2009 one more exploration well was drilled and additional study of resource base of the new well was undertaken. The result of it was that within the limits of the license area there were discovered three more hydrocarbon deposits: gas, gas condensate and oil-and-gas. At present the recoverable reserves of Lusianinskoye oilfield in C1+C2 category amount to 273 thousand tons.
At present OAO NK “RussNeft” is planning to effect text production at Lusianinskoye oilfield and within two years, after completing the process of development, to put the oilfield into commercial production.
