"Varioganneft" applies power-saving technologies at license areas

Raduzhny, KMAO. OAO "Varioganneft", a producing subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft" is implementing a target program on applying power-saving technologies at license areas.

Within the framework of this activity the company completed introduction  of operator stations with frequency regulation of export oil pumps at booster pump stations (BPS). The press-service of Varioganneft" pointed out that this technology permits autonatically maintain export pumping from BPS in predetermined modes. Reduction of start-up power and smooth regulation of frequency of the pumps' rotation have considerably prolonged the inter-overhaul period of the pumps and electric motors. From the momet of introduction of this technology OAO "Varioganneft" have reduced power consumption for export oil pumping from BPS by 25-30%.
OAO "Varioganneft" is integrated in the structure of OAO NK "RussNeft". The company develops eight oilfields in Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs: Varioganskoye, Kalinovoye, Yuzhno-Kalinovoye, Novo-Aganskoye,  Valiuninskoye, Tagrinskoye, Zapadno-Varioganskoye, Severo-Yahainerskoye. Annual production level in 2008 amounted to 475 thousand tons of oil.
