Moscow. Shareholders of OAO NK “RussNeft” approved annual report for the year 2008, annual accounting report, profit and loss account of the Company. The register for participation in the meeting was closed on May 21, says the Company's report.
At the meeting the shareholders elected the new compositions of the Board of Directors and the Audit Commission of OAO NK “RussNeft” and appointed the auditor for the year 2009
The new composition of the Board of Directors of OAO NK “RussNeft” is as follows: Vladislav Solovyov, Ashot Khachturiants, Chrystalla Dekatris, George Mountis, Evelina Georgiades.
In 2008 “RussNeft” produced 14.2 million tons of oil (+ 0.55% as compared to 2007), processed 7.5 million tons (+ 2.4% as compared to 2007). The total volume of oil products retail sales through the “RussNeft”’s own distribution net in 2008 amounted to 650.8 thousand tons (+ 11% as compared to 2007). In 2008 the raw materials base of the Company grew by 5% (by 20 million tons of C1 category).
Consolidated proceeds amounted to USD 8.09 billion rubles (+ more than 20% as compared to 2007).
In 2008 “RussNeft” settled completely all the existed tax claims. The total sum of tax payments of “RussNeft” to the budgets of all levels considering settlement of tax delinquencies amounted to USD 3.6 billion.
The report also points put that "the new management started the process of restructuring the Company’s assets and implementation of the anti-crisis program aimed at development of new transparent corporative structure, reduction of costs and increasing the efficiency of the "RussNeft"'s work.
RussNeft is numbered among top ten oil and gas enterprises of the country. In 2007 its production level amounted to 14.2 milliion tons, Annual throughput of the refineries amounts to 7.4 million tons. Net effective pay of exceeds 600 million tons.
RussNeft’s structure encompasses 21 producing plants, 2 refineries,, an oil terminal in Bryansk Region as well as 96 gas filling stations in Orenburg region. The company’s plants are located in 14 regions of Russia and the CIS.
Charter capital of the company amounts to 100 million rubles. 100 000 ordinary shares with nominal value of 1 thousand rubles were emitted for this sum.
According to the data of IPS "DataCapital" RAS net profit of "RussNeft" for the 1st quarter of 2009 decreased to 2,117 billion rubles from 3,506
million rubles a year earlier, proceeds fell by 62,8% to 20,783 billion rubles from 33,845 billion rubles, gross profit - by 4,4% to 8,141 billion rubles from 8,514 billion rubles, sales profit - by 36.1%, to 4,126 billion rubles from 5,615 billion rubles, profits before taxation - 3,5 times to 1,543 billion rubles from 5.345 billion rubles.
