Dancing concourse Star-Teen took place at the very beginning of the second summer shift at children’s recreation camp “Rovesnik” belonging to OAO “Saratovneftegas”. The kids had only a week to prepare, but they did their best and made the concourse a real festival of music, dance, bright costumes and high spirits.
All the children participated in the concourse – from seniors to little ones. Of course, the latter had much less “discotheque“ experience, and some of them felt shy, but their will for victory was amazing.
The jury of the concourse was unexpectedly grand – the guests of honor at the festival were: four times Olympic champion, ten times World champion, First Vice Chairman of the State Duma for physical culture and sports, member of “Yedinaya Rossia” fraction, Vladislav Tretiak, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Saratov region Natalia Starshova and General Director of OAO “Saratovneftegas” Vladimir Iliasov. Of course, boys were most impressed by the fact that “real Tretiak” visited their festival.
Ekaterina Grishunina from Mokrous Village received special “Tretiak’s prize”, and besides, Vladislav Tretiak promised to recommend this very talented girl to one of Moscow dancing ensembles.
But of course, not prizes and presents were the most important feature of the concourse. Not all the participants will become stars, but the star of friendship and happy childhood lit up at “Rovesnik again.
Vladislav Tretiak said that he liked the camp immensely. He is sure that such events contribute considerably in children’s health and wise administrators invest the money they spend for sponsoring such festivals, invest in the health of their enterprise and the nation ion the whole.
Deputy Chairman of the Government, Natnalia Starshova thanked the administration of OAO “Saratovneftegas” for their special attention to the children of the plant’s workers – the future of Russia.
Director of “Saratovneftegas. Vladimir Iliasov is glad that the plant, unlike many others, has preserved its social assets. He thinks that “Rovesnik” must go on developing, children must have good summer rest, as it has always been in our country.
These words are not just words: during the last few years “Saratovneftegas has invested in infrastructure of the camp more than 6 million rubles. During the two decades that the camp has been functioning 25 thousand children spent their summer vacations there.
Social program of “Saratovneftegas” besides a wide range of social events for its employees includes also special programs for children. In particular, besides 4 summer shifts and one winter shift in “Rovesnik” the children of the workers of “Saratovneftegas” can go to the seaside every year. A special program “Mother and child” has been developed recently. During school holidays the plant arranges tours to Moscow and St.-Petersburg for schoolchildren, on new Year Day the kids have the possibility to visit festivals in Kremlin.
