“Goloil” successfully implementing the program of associated gas utilization

NIZHNEVARTOVSK AREA, KHANTY-MANSI AUTONOMOUS OKRUG. In 2008 ZAO “Goloil”, a subsidiary of Oil and gas Company “RussNeft”, is going to increase the volume of associated gas utilization up to 95%. According to the information “Uralinformbiuro” received from the press-service of OAO MPC “Aganneftegasgeologia”, for this purpose the company is planning to install at Yeguriakhskoye oilfield a gas piston plant module (851 kWt).

The investments into the project will amount to about 40 million rubles. The module is designed by the leading manufacturer of the specialized equipment, the Austrian company GE Janbacher.  Putting the module into operation will permit, apart from increasing of the volume of associated gas utilization, to provide for the oilfield’s needs for electric and heating power, necessary for development of “Goloil”’s production activity. At present at Yeguriakhskoye oilfield there are working   two line heaters and four GE Janbacher gas piston power plant modules, with total capacity of 2.5 megawatt. They consume 64% of associated gas.
