RussNeft Transfers 51% Stake of Sobolinoye ZAO to its Assets and Liabilities Statement (Tomsk Oblast).

Oil Company RussNeft OAO has come in possession of a controlling stake at Sobolinoye ZAO, an oil producer operating in the Tomsk oblast, RussNeft said in an official statement. So on December 8 the company’s share in the chartered capital of Sobolinoye ZAO boosted from 0% to 51 %.

This is to remind that in the end of 2004 RussNeft acquired a number of promising oil assets in the Tomsk oil-bearing province which were Stolbovoye, Poselkovoye, Fedyushkinkoye, Duklinskoye and Grushevoye limited liability companies. At the same time in the interests of RussNeft was bought Sobolinoye ZAO whose total oil production level was 200 thousand tons per year. In total the companies thus acquired have 18 million tons of C1 recoverable reserves and 10 million tons of C2 recoverable reserves.
RussNeft is a vertically integrated oil holding established in 2002 by ex-president of Slavneft Mikhail Gutseriev. In the structure of the company there are 25 producing refining and transporting enterprises, an up-to-date retail network with petrol stations in 13 regions of Russia and CIS. RussNeft operates in Western Siberia, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk, Penza, Samara, Bryansk and Leningrad regions, Krasnodarsky krai, republics of Udmurtia, Komi and Belarus. RussNeft total recoverable reserves exceed 600 million tons.
