RussNeft Plans 1.5 Times Increase of Petrol Stations in 2006

NK RussNeft OAO plans to increase the number of petrol stations in 2006 in 1.5 times. As is reported by AK&M, the news was communicated by RussNeft Vice-President on Economics and Finances Olga Prozorovskaya.

The RussNeft representative informed that next year the company was going to build another 30 petrol stations in Moscow.
She reminded that in the current year RussNeft has acquired a retail network of petrol stations called Grand taking part in the ‘Clean Moscow’ Program of Moscow’s government. O.Prozorovskaya said that in the framework of this program RussNeft was going to get 30 plots to build the petrol stations on. At the same time the final decision concerning construction of the petrol stations is to be taken depending on financial affairs of the company. O.Prozorovskaya didn’t rule out that project financing might be obtained to carry out this project. She stated that the cost of putting up one petrol station ranged from $800 thousand to $1.5 million. Thus the company may need for this project borrowed funds amounting to $50 million.
