JSC “Belkamneft” (subsidiary of JSC “Russneft”) plans to increase production by 360 thousand tones – up to 3 million 300 thousand tones in 2005.

JSC “Belkamneft” (subsidiary of JSC “RussNeft”) plans to increase production by 360 thousand tones – up to 3 million 300 thousand tones in 2005.As reported by press-service of the Government of Udmurtiya, these are the words of “RussNeft’s” president Mikhail Gutseriev which he said at the meeting the president of Udmurtiya Alexander Volkov on Tuesday. Acording to Mr. Gutseriev, this year JSC “Belkamneft” will increase production by 25% - up to 2 million 940 thousand tones. Alexander Volkov emphasized significant positive contribution of “RussNeft” to local economy. He said, that this year “RussNeft” will pay 1bln 28 mln roubles in taxes, which is 250 mln more than specified in the Agreement of cooperation between “RussNeft” and Republic of Udmuriya, signed by M. Gutseriev and A. Volkov in January, 2004.
