Ulyanovskneft. Аdvanced technologies implementation allows to speed up the operations and improve their efficiency.

OAO Ulyanovskneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, uses advanced technologies for drilling which allows to fasten the operations and improve the efficiency.
In particular, PDC drilling bits by VAREL were used to drill Well 46 at Kudryashovskoye field. They were designed specifically for operation in the geological conditions of that well. Because of their improved stabilization characteristics, they ensure better drilling efficiency in hard abrasive rocks due to high mechanical rate of drilling and durability.
Application of such equipment, as well as correctly chosen arrangement of the drill string bottom allowed the Ulyanovsk oilmen to reduce significantly the drilling time: instead of the scheduled 23 days, the works were performed during 15 days, whereas the net drilling time was 47 hours.
Enhancement of the engineering infrastructure of the oilfields, application of up-to-date equipment and utilization of innovative methods of oil production, as well as HSE issues are the primordial factors of the successful operation of OAO Ulyanovskneft.
