Saratov. Ulyanovsk. Saratov oilmen assisted in containment at the well in Ulyanovsk region.

OAO Saratovneftegaz specialists, AO NK RussNeft producing subsidiary, assisted in containment at well 36 at Kudryashovskoye field of OAO Ulyanovskneft (AO NK RussNeft subsidiary as well). The well workover was made here in August 2014 by the external contractor, but a number of technical failures were made in course of the works. As a negative consequence one could mention tubing cementing with packer in casing string. Thus the well workver was transferred from the Repair and Isolating Works Category into Containment Category. All the efforts of the contractor to eliminate the accident within the next 5 months were not success due to the lack of the necessary tools and equipment.
In order to complete the long-lasting well workover earlier this year another contractor specializing in containment was involved. Unfortunately the works it started did not bring any positive results, more than that they sparked off additional problem i.e. seizure and breakage in the drilling string with fishing and cutting-type instrument.
The management had to reject the services of both contractors who did not manage with the task and it decided to ask the specialists of ZAO Reservoir Recovery Increase and Well Workover Department for assistance (OAO Saratovneftegaz subsidiary). The well workover brigade with master A.M. Shtulman, accident masters V.A. Semenov and S.A. Gudkov and chief technician V.S. Bokov started the works to fix the difficult problem and recover the well.
Within the period from May 1 – May 21, 2015 the young group of Brigade No. 10 of ZAO Reservoir Recovery Increase and Well Workover Department made a number of technical operations during which the two difficult accidents made earlier, were fully eliminated and the well was commissioned. The success of Saratov oilmen was reached mainly due to highly – qualified technical specialists and the concerted efforts of the company’s department, as well as due to the assistance of the Ulyanovsk colleagues.
It is worth mentioning that ZAO Reservoir Recovery Increase and Well Workover Department closely cooperates with the number of oil producing companies in Saratov region in the sphere of well services and well workover. The specialists of the company make a wide scale of works i.e. well development after drilling, sidehole drilling, large scale treatment bottomhole formation zone (acid). They also eliminate the accidents that were made during the operation of the wells  at the fields of ZAO NNK Saratovneftegazdobycha, ZAO Saratovneftegeofizika, ZAO Saratovneftedobycha.
Today ZAO Reservoir Recovery Increase and Well Workover Department is one of the largest qualified companies in Saratov region which has a big experience in oil and gas well workover. It gained a reputation of efficient and reliable contractor, it was also remarked by many letters of appreciation about qualified and non-accidental works.
