Khanty-Mansiysk. KhMAO-Yugra. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, subsidiary of RussNeft, successfully implements well interventions in 2015.
NAK AKI-OTYR carries out a comprehensive well intervention program in order to fulfill the oil production program. Thus, in H1 2015, the Business Plan was fulfilled in full scope and exceeded the expected level almost by 50 thousand tons of oil amounting to 893.788 thousand.
Forty four well interventions were performed at the company’s fields adding 65.699 tons of oil production.
Hydraulic fracturing remains the key well intervention activity. In H1 2015, fifteen hydraulic fracturing events were performed at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field in the areas with complete water injection system which improved the efficiency of such activities. The production increment on this type of well intervention was 22-25 tons per well against 19 tons under the plan.
Optimization of the surface and subsurface equipment is the main well intervention activity at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field. It is to be noted that 3 optimizations of subsurface equipment and 2 optimizations of surface equipment were carried out there.
Further successful planning of well interventions and their effective implementation will allow the company to maintain the high level of hydrocarbons production at its fields. In the complex economic conditions, OAO NAK AKI-OTYR intends to demonstrate true professionalism and keep the high operation indicators also in H2 2015. The company plans to produce 844.028 thousand tons of oil in H2 2015.
