Aganneftegazgeologia eliminates oil slurry and drilling cutting pits

Nizhnevartovsk, KhMAO-Yugra. Aganneftegazgeologia is implementing a program on elimination of oil slurry and drilling cutting pits

Aganneftegazgeologia (the subsidiary of Russneft) has fulfilled the 2015 drilling cuttings treatment and mud pits elimination program on Roslavlskoye and Eguriakhskoye license areas. More than 75 million rubles were allocated for implementing program of drilling cuttings disposal sites elimination.

The drilling waste deactivation operations have been undertaken on Well Pad 4 of Eguriakhskoye oilfield, Well Pad 5 of Vostochno-Golevoye oilfield, Well Pad 15 of Roslavlskoye field.
The total volume of drilling cuttings recycled will exceed 14.5 thousand m³ , the total area of the land being recultivated amounts 1.5 hectares.
The operations are being carried out on a scheduled and stage-by-stage basis. In 2014 the drilling cutting pits were eliminated on Well Pads 5, 19 and 20 of Roslavlskoye field and Well Pad 1 of Golevoye oilfield.
The total area of remediated land exceeds 1.1 hectares with 11.8 m³ of drilling waste treated.
In the future, the company will go on the drilling waste treatment and oil mud pits elimination on its license areas, the press-team of the company informs.
