Khanty-Mansiysk. KhMAO-Yugra. OAO NAK Aki-Otyr, producing subsidiary of RussNeft, continues to actively exploit its fields. The company has launched a drilling program.
The first “horizon” has been penetrated at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field.
The 2016 operation program provides for drilling of 23 wells at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field: 20 well with directional drilling and 3 wells with horizontal drilling, based on the multi-phase fracturing technology which is new for the company. Drilling is the principal type of well intervention, efficient planning in this discipline has allowed the company to fulfill its production business plan for a number of years.
Currently, drilling is performed at Well pad 9 and Well pad 34 of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field.
Drilling of horizontal well 5011 has started At Well pad 9, the well will be a pilot for the multi-phase fracturing technique application.
Multi-phase fracturing is a unique technology, Maxim Akchurin, Chief geologist of the company, sais. The opening flow rate per well after application of this method is expected to be 120 tons per day.
According to the press-service, the geologists don’t neglect the bedrock analysis. Drilling of Well 2621 at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field will include logging of AC12-1 formation.
The plan for Mach is to start drilling at Well pad 1-bis. The geologists expect an average production rate of 36 tons per day per well.
The total addition over the company in 2016 due to drilling is expected to be 162 thousand tons.
