OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya, RussNeft subsidiary, continues implementing charitable projects at the territory of Nizhnevartovsk district. The Orthodox Church and Chapel in Novoagansk was opened in 2002. The Church was constructed on the account of the company. Aganneftegazgeologiya has always provided a reasonable financial and material support to the parish of the Church. The company helped to make a full repair, to pay for the community charges, to organize pilgrim trips and celebrations in a Sunday school for the children.
The Church Beneficiary performs a missionary work in Novoagansk and national village Variogan, he also organizes reconstruction and extension works of the Church building.
