Ulyanovsk. Under the agreement on cooperation with Ulyanovsk State University, OAO Ulyanovskneft, the subsidiary of RussNeft, is arranging the occupational skills upgrade training for its employees.
The Oil and Gas Engineering training programme, focused on Operation and Maintenance of Oil Production Facilities, was developed on the basis of Oil and Gas Education Centre of Ulyanovsk University. The programme includes such topics as physics of oil and gas reservoirs, subsurface hydromechanics, petroleum field geology, borehole oil production, oil and gas wells drilling, routine workover and overhaul of wells, and so on. A total of 42 people will be trained, 25 of them have higher education, while 17 – have secondary vocational education. The courses will be held online in the training rooms of the enterprise. After the courses the employees of OAO Ulyanovskneft will be granted the diplomas of occupational training.
It is noteworthy, there is no specialized educational institution in Ulyanovsk Region that would train the specialists in oil industry. The development and implementation of above programme would significantly facilitate the task of training within the area of core business of the company.
