OAO Ulyanovsneft , the subsidiary of Russneft, has held the swimming championship under the corporate Spartakiade.
Teams of 4 divisions of the Company, namely NGDU (Oil and Gas Production Field Office) No.1 “Yug”, NGDU No.2 “Sever”, Office for Transport Support and central office, took part in the contests. The tournament was held in individual and team events. The competitors had to overcome the distance of 50 m for the shortest possible period. In team event the employees of NGDU No.1 “Yug” have proven to be the fastest (they were the winners of the last year`s swimming competition). Second place was taken by the team of NGDU No.2 “Sever”, and the third – by central office. In the individual event, Dmitry Shilin, the operator of dehydrating and desalinating unit of the NGDU No.1 “Yug”, took gold, while bronze was earned by the deputy chief of the well construction service Anton Lysak. The mini-football championship will be the next stage of the Spartakiade.
The corporate Spartakiade, aimed at creating and nurturing of the corporate culture, attracting personnel to the active healthy lifestyle, popularisation of the sports, has been held since 2014.
Over 200 employees of the company are expected to take place in the events.
