PJSC “RUSSNEFT” EXPECTS 2016 OUTCOMES WILL SHOW 13 MLN TONS RESERVES GROWTH

Moscow. PJSC “RussNeft” predicts increase of АВС1+С2 reserves in the amount of up to 13 mln tons of oil by the end of 2016. Thus PJSC “RussNeft” provides greater replacement of reserves with 180% replacement factor being one of the best indicators in the industry.

Together with that the drilling rate made up 290.5 thousand meters acc. to results of the 9 months of 2016, having grown by a third.

 

Besides from January to September 2016, PJSC “RussNeft” increased the start-up of new wells by 25%, up to 77 wells.

 

The Company highlights that the holding intends to actively develop non-conventional reserves at PJSC “RussNeft” fields in 2017. The development will be focused on Bazhenov Formation.

 

It was said earlier PSJC “RussNeft” would focus on Tagrinskoye and Verkhne-Shapshinskoye fields’ development. Evgeniy Tolochek, the Company’s Senior Vice-president for Production and Geology informed RussNeft Time corporate newspaper: “We start developing Vostochno-Kamennoye site (this facility has been recently obtained by Khanty-Mansi Oil Company) with the approved production outlooks. We start drilling at Bazhenov Formation at Sredne-Shapshinskoye site”.

 

The Company intends to commission 30 wells at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field in KhMAO by the end of 2016. It is expected that  these 30 wells will additionally produce 234.8 tons of oil.

 

Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field is included into Shapshinskaya group also involving Sredne-Shapshinskoye and Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field. The cumulative recoverable hydrocarbon reserves form three fields make up 98 mln tons.
