SARATOVNEFTEGAZ INCREASES ITS GAS PRODUCTION

Estimated gas production at the fields following the 2016 results is 95 million cubic meters given the original plan of 35 million cubic meters. The threefold increase of the gas production became possible after the producing wells intervention and following the negotiations with Gazprom on optimization of the gas transport system operation.

Development of the gas business in Saratov region is a priority of PJSC “RussNeft”. The company intends to extend the gas infrastructure for Belokamennoye field within the next two years.

Construction of the gas infrastructure will allow to increase the natural gas production at Belokamennoye field of Saratovneftegaz up to 70 million cubic meters per year. The estimated recoverable reserves at the field are 766 million cubic meters of gas and almost 100 thousand tons of condensate.

OAO Saratovneftegaz, being the operator of the project, when choosing technologies and equipment for the gas infrastructure upgrade, prefers the technologies and equipment made in Saratov region.

Currently, Saratovneftegaz produces gas at 11 fields which reserves are estimated as 20,198 million cubic meters under category АВС1+С2, and the overall gas production from those fields is 36.1 million cubic meters per month in average.
