AVALISHVILI COMES BACK TO RUSSNEFT AS A VICE-PRESIDENT FOR PERSPECTIVE PROJECTS AND SERVICES

Moscow. The Board of Directors of RussNeft appointed David Avalishvili for newly created post of Vice-President for perspective projects and Services, a statement of the Company says.

The corresponding decision was made at the Board of Directors meeting on February 1st, 2017.

From the summer of 2011 to September of 2015, D. Avalishvili served as a Vice-President for Commerce, Director of Oil and Gas Supplies Department.

Besides, in preceding years he occupied the position of the Head of Primaryl Resources Division of the Project Support Office of the Department of Perspective Commercial Projects in CIS counties of Slavneft Company (the joint venture of Rosneft and Gazprom Neft).

As RussNeft previously explained to INTERFAX, “the introduction of the new post and structural changes are related to the large-scale ambitions of the Company for business expansion”.

“Following acquisition of the new public status and approval by the Board of Directors of the development strategy for the next three years, the Company is adjusting its management structure. The alterations are caused by the plans for new projects implementation”, Russneft emphasized.
