PJSC “RussNeft” will produce additional 450 thousand tonnes of oil due to well intervention activities

The additional production of oil from the well intervention by PJSC “RussNeft”, member of the Industrial Financial Group “Safmar” of Mikhail Gutseriev, will be around 450 thousand tonnes in 2017, according to the Company’s press release.

RussNeft will add about 450 tonnes of oil production in 2017 due to well intervention works, the Company states.

Following the results of the 9 months of 2017, AO Varioganneft, OAO Saratovneftegaz, and OAO Ulyanovskneft are the leaders in the well intervention efficiency growth.

The well intervention specific efficiency is expected to increase 48% in Varioganneft and 14% in Volga river group against the same parameter last year.

PJSC “RussNeft” well intervention portfolio prioritizes production intensification methods at brown fields and hydro-cracking in the first place.

The well intervention activities include works on wells to adjust the field development and ensure the planned oil production levels. The well intervention works are hydro-cracking, side tracking, dual completion, shift to an overlying formation and some other activities.
