Founded under the patronage of PJSC «RussNeft», the Neftyanik Youth Football Club continues to develop and grow rapidly. This time, the players of Neftyanik played great at the Interregional futsal tournament in Kuznetsk, Penza region.
The team of boys born in 2009 confidently beat their rivals and took 1st place out of 10. The boys showed grit and togetherness, and the spectators were able to enjoy authentic football and coherent actions of the players.
Team of players of Neftyanik born in 2011 also showed decent results. The boys performed well at the regional tournament in Ulyanovsk. After an intense struggle, during which the guys were leading among 12 teams of the region in their age group, a passionate semi-final took place. As a result of the stint, the sponsored by RussNeft sportsmen lost to their rivals and won bronze, ending up on the third line in the standings.
In addition, athletes of younger age groups achieved good results during the Winter Futsal Championship in Syzran, Samara region.
It should be recalled that the Neftyanik FC was established in 2003 in the Novospasskoye working settlement of the Novospasskoye district of Ulyanovsk region with the active participation and support of RussNeft owned by Mikhail Gutseriev. To date, future football stars train at the club, who consistently show high results at regional competitions. Currently, more than 200 talented 7- 17 years old guys are trained in the club.
