The Neftyanik Football Club, created with the participation of PJSC “RussNeft”, once again successfully performed at the Children's All-Russian Football tournament. The Breakthrough 2024 competition was held in Adler, Krasnodar region.
According to the press service of the company, four teams of Neftyanik participated in the competition in different age categories. Three of them showed a real struggle and took the first places.
It should be recalled that the Neftyanik football club was founded in 2003 in Novospasskoye work settlement of the Ulyanovsk region. With the support of the oil company, the club engages more than 200 players in the age categories from 7 to 17 years old.
The company's patronage of the club makes football in the region accessible to young people. Today Neftyanik is the only local club where training, uniforms, equipment and participation in competitions are free for pupils. Last year, the team received a special tour bus from sponsors to attend tournaments.
Investments in young athletes pay off with a vengeance. Over the years of the existence of FC Neftyanik, young football players have repeatedly won and received prizes in regional, all-Russian and international competitions. Players regularly improve their skills and show decent results.
For example, this summer, representatives of the club won prizes at the All-Russian football youth tournament "Finist Summer Cup 2024" in Tuapse. The members of the boys' team born in 2010-2011 performed very well. The guys had some exciting fights with football players from other regions and eventually took first place in the tournament.
