PJSC “RussNeft” issued a press release announcing the completion of a series of activities to certify the competence of its Ulyanovsk branch`s chemical analysis laboratory with the Federal Accreditation Service.
It is noted that in 2021, RusAccreditation included the branch's laboratory as a test laboratory in the national accreditation system, thus helping the company to reduce operating costs for oil preparation and delivery.
For five years, the Ulyanovsk branch, using its own laboratory, has been independently conducting detailed crude assay of oil delivered to the mainline oil pipeline system.
It is specified that in April 2026, RusAccreditation ordered an expert review, which included an inspection of the metrological support of measuring tools, testing and auxiliary equipment, the existing support system, and the quality of measurement results. The expert review confirmed the laboratory's full compliance with the regulatory authority's requirements.
In March of this year, the oil company drew the balance of its production costs optimization program. Approximately 700 different projects were implemented under this program. The consolidated actual economic effect of these projects amounted to RUB 2.4 bln. This list included projects related to the repair of existing wells, increasing energy efficiency and improving production technologies, and optimizing oil and gas preparation and transportation processes. The recommended areas also include measures to optimize the construction of industrial facilities, enhance environmental and industrial safety, as well as projects intended to introduce elements of lean production culture and to implement other initiatives important for the company.
